School Work

I have a TON of school work. Besides normal school subjects I am taking 2 languages.
But it is fun I work for about 2 1/2 - 3 hours a day and get all my school done. The languages that I
am learning are Latin and German. I am using Latina Christiana books and CD for Latin, and
Live Mocha for German. I highly recommend live mocha it is an on-line language program similar
to Rosetta Stone but the great thing is that it is free. But you must be 13 or older to use it.

Bass Pro Shops

Today we went to the new Bass Pro Shops in Daphne. It is REALLY cool. The whole store
looks like a hunting loge and there are stuffed animals everywhere, there is a big fish tank
and one of the biggest cat fish I have ever seen. The store has all kinds of hunting , fishing and outdoor gear that is actually not that expensive, there are also lots of hunting and fishing nick knacks and decorations. There is also a restaurant in the store but we did not go there.

Phelps Makes History!

Last night Michael Phelps won his 8th gold medal to surpass Mark Spitz's
record of 7 medals in one Olympics. The U.S men's team won gold in the men's 4x100m medley relay with Phelps swimming the butterfly leg, and Jason Lezac
again swimming the anchor leg for gold.

7 Golds for Phelps!

On Friday night Michael Phelps won his seventh gold medal of these games
in the men's 100m fly. He beat the Russian swimmer by .01 of a second. Phelps has now tided
American Mark Spitz 7 golds from the 1972 Olympics, he is trying for 8 golds in one Olympics.
It has never been done. He already has 13 career golds, the most ever. Go Phelps.

Busy Busy Busy

Well I have not posted in awhile because I have been really busy.
I had been blogging at night when the little kids were in bed, but this week
we have been watching the Olympics and I just have not had time to blog. But the Olympics have been really good, if you have not watched them I found
videos of the events on nbcolympics.com. I highly recommend that you watch the men's 4x100 relay video. We watched the relay live (I think) and it was phenomenal, the U.S. won but only by a point second or two. I won't tell you the rest so that if you go watch it I won't have spoiled it for you.
